How to make a Stuffed Paratha ?

PEAS PARATHA


INGREDIENTS


Wheat flour  2 cups


Peas ( shelled)               3/4 cups


Oil  for shallow frying 


Salt to taste


Red chilli powder  - 1/2 tsp


Corainder powder - 1/2 tsp


Garam masala.        - 1/2 tsp


Hing  (pinch) 


Green chillies finely chopped - 2


METHOD



Add water to the wheat flour and make a smooth  dough  for the pratha.

 Keep aside. 


In a  mixer,  grind the  green,fresh peas . Heat 1 tsp  of oil and hing  and saute the crushed peas for 2 minutes .Add  salt, corainder  powder, chilli  powder, Green chillies  and saute for another 1/2 a minute. Let cool. The mixture should  be used only when cooled and dry. 


Divide the dough  into small balls. Roll the ball  a little,   smear little  oil and add a spoonful of the peas mixture,as a stuffing for the Partha. Close it and roll it again with a rolling  pin.

On a heated pan, smear oil and shallow fry the prathas,on medium  heat. They  turn out to be crispy and crunchy. 


Serve hot with butter.
