MUSHROOM DELIGHT

MUSHROOM PEAS CURRY


INGREDIENTS 

Mushrooms   100 gms

Peas                      50 gms


Onions sliced       2 


Garlic  paste         1 tsp


Ginger paste.        1 tsp


Tomato pureed     2(tomatoes)


Curd                       1/2 cup


Oil                         2tsp


Salt to taste


Red chillies             1/2 tsp


Turmeric                1/2 tsp


Corainder  powder   1/2 tsp


Garam masala.          1/2 tsp


Corainder leaves to garnish 


Method


Clean and wash the  mushrooms well. Steam the mushrooms  and peas and keep aside. 


   
In a pan, heat oil  and   fry the sliced onions till pink and translucent. Let cool. 

Now in a mixer grind the fried onions to a  smooth paste. 

Now again put it back into the pan and saute for some time. Add the ginger garlic paste. Keep stirring, adding a little  water  now and then. Add the tomatoes  and saute  until the oil is separated and a nice colour is got. Add the curd and saute for five minutes.

Add the salt.,turmeric, chillies and corainder  powder.Add water for form a nice gravy.  Let boil, Add the steamed mushrooms  and peas  and let simmer  for 5  minutes on low flame.

Garnish with garam masala  and corainder  leaves. Serve  hot with Roti  or Partha.
