HOW TO MAKE INDIAN COLACOSIA(ARBI)

THE INDIAN DELICACY ARBI... Many of us in India know by the term "arbi"... In english it is known as COLACOSIA. The COLACOSIA is an exotic plant with broad green leaves and the under ground stem and the vegetable is known as Arbi. Arbi is a starchy root that is brown in color fibrous exterior. It generally grows in wet Wild places. The arbi has many benefits and consuming it, helps in many ways. Some benefits are 1. Reduces tiredness 2. Helps in weight loss, as it has low caloric content. 3. Has good amount of fibre. 4. It is a very antioxidant and consuming regularly boosts immunity. The arbi when boiled and fried gives a crispy taste. But today I am going to share my recipe which is gravy based. INGRIDIENTS Arbi or (Colocasia) in english 500 gms Onions - 4 medium sized Garlic - 1 teaspoon crushed Ginger - paste 1 tsp Green chillies 2 Oil for frying and sauteing Jeera or cumin seeds 1/2 tsp Tomatoes - 2 finely chopped Salt - 1 tsp Red chilli powder 3/4 t

How to barbeque paneer tikka

Paneer Tikka with capsicum and pineapple Ingredients 2 cup - paneer(cut in 1 inch square) 2 green and red capsicums (cut in squares) Pineapple. - 1/2cups( cut in squares) 2 tsp - ginger garlic paste 1 cup - hung curd 1/2 tsp - red chilli powder 1/2tsp - garam masala 1 tsp - kasuri methi( dried fungreek leaves) Coriander powder and lime juice 2tsp - oil Salt One onion for garnishing Method Beat the curd, add ginger garlic paste, red chillies and coriander powder, kasuri me thi Mix gently.Add the paneer, capsicums, and pineapple and marinate for 2-3 hours. Arrange in a skewer,sprinkling some oil and barbeque.Keep turning the skewers on fire. Sprinkle lime juice, and garnish with onion rings , serve with green mint chutney.
