Super food Quinuo

Quinuo is a gluten free, super good, high in protein, fibre, vitamins, iron and magnesium. Quinoa has recently  become  popular  because  of its healthy  goodness.

This recipe  of quinoa  is quick  to make and can be had during lunch or dinner.

Ingredients

Quinoa   - 1 cup
Onions   - 2 finely  chopped
Peas (green)       - 1/2 cup
Ginger.          - 1 teaspoon  grated/chopped
Spring.      - onions
Mushrooms  - 100 grams chopped
Oil/butter. - 2 to 3 teaspoon
Salt, cloves, green chillies and a little  milk.

Method

Soak the Quinoa for 1 hour
In a pan ,heat oil,  add the cloves  and and onions and saute  them until translucent.

Now you can add the mushrooms, peas, spring  onions, ginger,green chillies and mushrooms.saute till dry. Drain the water  from the soaked  quinoa  and add to the pan.keep  stirring for a  few  minutes. You can add water about  2 cups or vegetable  stock and let boil. Lower  the flame cover with a lid and let cook  until soft. Add about  2teaspoon of milk. Stir  it , turn off the flames.  Garnish with green coriander  leaves and spring onions. Serve  hot.
