Onion rings are great and good starters. They are light on the stomach and can be had before dinner or with tea. Very easy and quick to make
To make these we need:
Onions sliced into rings
Maida for the batter
Pepper
Salt
Coriander leaves
Oil for frying
Some bread crumbs for coating
Crushed corn flakes
Method
Mix the maida or flour in a bowl Add water to make into a thick batter. Add the onion rings, salt pepper and coriander leaves. Mix well .coat each onion ring from the batter with bread crumb and the crushed cornflakes. Fry in a pan till golden.
The crispy and crunchy onion rings are ready for a winter evening.
