Soupe D'Amande

Soup d'amande  or the almond soup.
Soups  are a agreat  delight  in winters. They are not only  nutritious  and healthy, they keep out body  warm in winter. They are rich in calcium  and good for the brain. Here is a healthy  recipe of soups d'amande.

Ingredients

Almonds  -  15 - 20
Slice 2 to 3 almonds roast it crisp for garnishing.
1tsp -plain flour
2tsp -butter
2cups - milk
2tsp  - fresh  cream
Salt and black  pepper  to taste

Method

Soak the almonds for 10 minutes in warm water. (remove skin)
Blend  them in a mixer till smooth adding little  milk.
Heatbutter in a pan and add flour and saute for five minutes,on low flame for two to three  minutes.
Add 2cups of hot water and stir gently, see that no lumps  are formed.
Add 2 cups of milk and let boil for 2-3 minutes. Add salt  and pepper. Mix well.
Garnish with sliced crispy almonds. Serve hot.
